Applications for the 2026 Fellowship will open from February 1st to March 31st. During that time, we invite you to share your story, your ambitions, and the ideas that drive you.

Introduction

Applications for 2026-2027 will open 9am GMT on 1st February 2026, and close 5pm GMT on 31st March 2026. Applications received outside of this window will not be accepted.

Please take time to carefully write and review these statements. These statements will play a big part in helping the scholarship panel to decide which candidates to invite to an interview. The Trustees want to know who you are as a person, your educational journey, and what your planned degree programmes means to you and to your future. Is there anything else that you would like to tell us to help us get to know you better? Since the Fellowship values academic strength and societal contribution, you may wish to speak about your experience of these characteristics in your journey thus far. (200 words)

Declaration and Submission

All decisions by the Phoenix Fellowship charity are taken in good faith on the basis of the statements made on your scholarship application and having considered your referees' communication.

If the trustees discover that you have made a false statement or have omitted significant information from your application form, for example, regarding your qualifications, the Phoenix Fellowship reserves the right to terminate your application during the application process or the fellowship itself should your application be successful.
