Introduction

The application window for 2026-2027 is now open. The window opened at 9am GMT on 1st February 2026, and will close at 5pm GMT on 31st March 2026. Applications received outside of this window will not be accepted.

Please take time to carefully write and review these statements. These statements will play a big part in helping the scholarship panel to decide which candidates to invite to an interview. The Trustees want to know who you are as a person, your educational journey, and what your planned degree programmes means to you and to your future. Please refer to the Fellowship Overview page to remind yourself of characteristics of successful Fellows to help inform your statements..

Declaration and Submission

All decisions by the Phoenix Fellowship charity are taken in good faith on the basis of the statements made on your scholarship application and having considered your referees' communication.

If the trustees discover that you have made a false statement or have omitted significant information from your application form, for example, regarding your qualifications, the Phoenix Fellowship reserves the right to terminate your application during the application process or the fellowship itself should your application be successful.
