Application Process

If you have any questions about The Phoenix Fellowship Application Process prior to submitting your application, please refer to our Guidance Notes and Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) documents.

Please note that there is no advantage for applicants who submit their applications early in the registration window; we thus strongly advise you to take your time and fill in the form carefully, especially the personal statements. Please note that we will not consider incomplete applications.

Your application will only be processed for The Phoenix Fellowship if you meet the following sets of criteria:

• Reside full-time in the UK,
• Hold (or be the dependent of someone who holds) one of the following immigration status' under UK law: Refugee, Humanitarian Protection, Indefinite Leave to Remain, Section 67 Leave, Calais Leave, or Stateless Leave.
• Be enrolled in, or accepted to (with either an unconditional or conditional offer), a full-time undergraduate or postgraduate programme at a UK university in Medicine, Dentistry, Veterinary Medicine, or one of the following scientific disciplines: Biomedical Sciences, Biological Sciences, Chemistry, Physics, or Psychology.
• Demonstrate financial need with supporting documentation,
• Be under the age of 35 at the time of application,
• Be eligible for UK Student Finance.
