Founder & Trustee
Katy is Professor of Medicine, Vice President, and Head of the Institute for Cellular Therapy Innovation and Discovery at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center. She specialises in NK and TCR-based immunotherapies and is recognised for pioneering the clinical development of engineered NK cell therapies for patients with limited treatment options. Her research accelerates the translation of next-generation cell therapies from discovery to the clinic.

Richard is a Professor of Information Systems and Visiting Professor at the Royal Agricultural University. Beginning his career in the early 1990s in the oil and gas industry, he subsequently moved into technology management roles in the investment banking sector. After completing an Executive MBA at Henley Business School, he relocated to Houston in support of Katy’s career, where he went on to earn a PhD in Information Systems at the University of Houston. Subsequently becoming a faculty member at the University of Houston, Richard's research examines how organizations respond to project disruption and failure in complex technology systems.

Peter is a Chartered Civil Engineer and former Global Chief Operating Officer of SLR Consulting, where he led the expansion of one of the world’s foremost environmental and sustainability consultancies. Over a career spanning nearly 40 years, he has held senior leadership positions across the engineering and environmental sectors, including as Chief Operating Officer for AECOM Environment in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. He now chairs charities focused on delivering educational, medical, and sustainability initiatives across the UK, Africa, and Asia, and continues to advise organisations on corporate governance and strategic growth.

Nichola is Professor of Immune Haematology at Imperial College London and an Honorary Consultant at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust, specialising in immune-mediated blood disorders. She is internationally recognised for her leadership in clinical research and trials in haematological autoimmunity. Her work combines patient care, teaching, and research leadership across major academic and clinical programs.

David is Professor of Medicine at University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center, specialising in the management of myeloid malignancies and the clinical development of novel cell therapies. He is recognised for leading international clinical trials and developing personalised treatment strategies for haematological cancers. Formerly Director of the Leukemia Clinical Trials Unit at Imperial College London, he continues to advance translational research in cell therapy.

Andres is Professor of Respiratory Biology at the University of Cambridge and Research Director at the Cambridge Centre for Lung Infection, Royal Papworth Hospital, specialising in infection biology and antimicrobial resistance. He is recognised for integrating machine learning with experimental medicine to develop novel therapeutic strategies. He also serves as Co-Director of the Cambridge Centre for AI in Medicine, advancing predictive health technologies.

Samantha is a Consultant Hip & Knee Surgeon working in the NHS (London North West University Healthcare NHS Trust) and private sectors. She was the first black female consultant orthopaedic surgeon in the UK and the first woman in Europe to perform Mako robotic hip surgery. She is an External Examiner for the University of the West Indies, Associate Orthopaedic Professor for the American University of the Caribbean and Secretary for the International Orthopaedic Diversity Alliance. In 2025, she was elected to the Council of the Royal College of Surgeons, reflecting her leadership and contributions to the advancement of surgery.

He is Clinical Lead for Edison Young People and serves as Featured Faculty on the Nutrition and Wellness Coaching Programme at Harvard Medical School, bringing an interdisciplinary approach to therapy, education, and wellbeing. An author and former presenter of Channel 4’s The Hoarder Next Door, he is recognised for his public engagement work on mental health and his contributions to advancing therapeutic practice.
