Our Mission
Our mission is to support refugee students in the UK, especially women studying science or medicine, with financial aid and practical help so they can overcome educational challenges and achieve their academic goals.
Our Vision
- That the title of "Phoenix Fellow" is recognized as a symbol of resilience, excellence, and ambition.
- That former fellows return to inspire, mentor, and support current fellows, creating a transformative network of leaders who actively shape society. This inclusive community places particular emphasis on elevating women’s voices and leadership within science and medicine.
- That the charity exists as a self-sustaining community, amplifying the impact of individual success into a collective force for societal change.
Our Objectives
Assist refugee students pursuing degrees in science or medicine by helping cover tuition fees, living expenses, and other education-related costs.
Empower beneficiaries to complete their degrees and make meaningful contributions to their fields, increasing diversity and representation in science and medicine.
Develop and implement robust investment strategies to ensure the long-term viability of the charity and continued support for future students.
Partner with UK-based NGOs, universities, and refugee organizations to identify eligible candidates and provide mentorship opportunities to support academic and personal growth.
