Interested in Becoming a Phoenix Ally?
A Flexible Way to Help
You don’t have to become a mentor to make a difference. Sometimes a conversation is enough.
There is no minimum time commitment, and you are always free to decline a request. The Fellowship will contact you when your experience could help a Fellow, and only arrange an introduction if you are happy to proceed.
Tell us about yourself and the experience you would be happy to share.
An Invitation to Doctors and Dentists
The Phoenix Fellowship supports refugee students as they pursue their ambitions in medicine and science. Alongside financial support, we offer encouragement, guidance and connection to help our Fellows progress. As a Phoenix Ally, you can contribute to that support by sharing a little of your time and professional experience when a Fellow would benefit from it.
Who Can Become an Ally?
We welcome doctors and dentists working in the UK, across all specialties and at every career stage. By sharing your experience, you could help a Phoenix Fellow explore a specialty, consider their career options or take their next step.
A Flexible Way to Help
Phoenix Allies complements our mentors and Academic Advisors, without a formal mentoring commitment. You can offer occasional guidance when it suits you. There is no minimum time commitment, and you are always free to decline a request from the Fellowship.
