As we step into 2026, the Phoenix Fellowship is proud to continue our mission of supporting refugee-background students pursuing careers in medicine and science, especially as they navigate significant structural and financial barriers to higher education. The Fellowship exists to help students tackle some of those barriers, offering not just financial support, but community, guidance and belief in what’s possible.
That said, we’re excited to share that applications for the Phoenix Fellowship officially open on 1 February - less than a month away.
We’ll be hosting essential information session for prospective applicants - and anyone supporting prospective applicants - where we’ll walk through the Fellowship, eligibility, and tips for the application process, with plenty of time for questions.
